Abstract

Companies that sell shares to the public in going public should have a good overview. A good overview is needed to gain the trust of investors. Companies in an effort to gain the confidence of investors will provide information that is credible. It characterizes the character of the company, especially on financial performance. To determine the effect of the financial performance of the companys value are used regression analysis techniques. The survey results a significant influence from the financial performance to the companys value. Effect on the financial performance to the companys value is 6%. This can be seen in the year 2006 the number of company which had financial performance above the average were 40%, while in 2007 rose to 42% and in 2008 it was 38%. This illustrates all investors still using ROE value in taking the decision to invest, when to invest in companies included in the list of LQ-45 the period 2006 to 2008

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the intentions for entrepreneurship by the vocational school students in the Malang city which are affected by the reference group, economic motives and entrepreneurship education in schools. Respondents are 261 students. Data were collected by mixed-method approach, which means quantitative data by regression analysis incorporating with qualitative data by indepth interviews. These results indicate that the reference group and entrepreneurship education positively affects students entrepreneurial intentions. Variable economic motives have a strong influence on the intentions of entrepreneurship, the motive to fullfil their needs, to earn profit, to get the award, to gain power, and social motives, and motive to provide better condition for the family becomes the basic reason for students to choose entrepreneur as their career choice. However, students are still difficult to identify the steps that must be taken to start a business

Abstract

The study aims to 1.) analyzing the Influence of the Income Level to Consumption Level In Post Graduate Students Universitas Negeri Surabaya, 2.) analyzing the Influence of the Economics Knowledge to Consumption Level In Post Graduate Students Universitas Negeri Surabaya, 3.) analyzing the Influence of the Income Level and the Economics Knowledge of Consumption Level In Post Graduate Students Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The population in this study were Post Graduate Students Universitas Negeri Surabaya, using proportional random sampling technique sampling. Methods of analysis using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the level of income has partially significant effect on the level of student consumption Post Graduate Students Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Economics Knowledge negatively affect consumption levels Post Graduate Students Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Income levels and economic knowledge simultaneously have a significant effect on the level of student consumption Post Graduate Students Universitas Negeri Surabaya

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of socio-economic status of parents on the learning achievement of economic and consumption behaviors of students. The sample in this study were students majoring in sosial studies in high school Jombang City Year 2013/2014 as many as 155 people with a proportional random sampling technique. The data collection techniques used are questionnaire and documentation. The results showed that the socioeconomic status of the parents have a significant effect on economics learning achievement. Socio-economic status of parents significantly influence consumption behavior of students. So also with the economic study achievement significantly influence consumption behavior of students

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of education level, income and consumption on the number of poor people in the east java province partially and simultaneously. The population of this research is poor people in east java province from the year 2009-2013. The technique of sampling applies purposive sampling. Furthermore, the method of data collection uses method of documentation while the method of data analysis is regression analysis techniques of panel data. The result of data analysis shows that in partial the education level does not influence significantly to the number of poor people of east java. However, the income and consumption influence significantly to the number of poor people of east java. Moreover, simultaneously the education level, income and consumption influence significantly to the number of poor people of east java

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of self-control, gender, and income on personal financial management Universitas Negeri Surabaya Post Graduate student either partially or simultaneously. Research conducted a quantitative study. The population in this study are Post Graduate students of Universitas Negeri Surabaya in 2014 as many as 910 with a total sample of 278 students consisting of 128 male students and 150 female students. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed that partially self-control and earnings significantly influence personal financial management of Post Graduate student Universitas Negeri Surabaya, while gender has no influence on personal financial management of Post Graduate student Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Simultaneously self-control, gender, and income significantly influence personal financial management of Post Graduate student Universitas Negeri Surabaya

Abstract

This study analyze the influence of the implementation of entrepreneurial education in college, locus of control and need for achievement on entrepreneurial attitude among students. The population of this study are the 2012 generations of economic education students Economics Faculty of UNESA as many as 264 people with the total samples 159 people. The data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The method of analysis using Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that partially entrepreneurship education significantly influence entrepreneurial attitudes, locus of control significantly influence entrepreneurial attitude, and need for achievement significant effect on entrepreneurial attitudes. While simultaneously the results showed that entrepreneurship education, locus of control, and the need for achievement significantly influence entrepreneurial attitudes

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of accounting prior knowledge, self-efficacy, and interest in the level of understanding of accounting majors accounting PGRI Adi Buana University of Surabaya. The approach used in this research is quantitative. Populations are the second semester students 2014/2015 Accounting Department of Economics, PGRI Adi Buana University with a sample of 156 students. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that there was a significant effect of prior knowledge of accounting and self efficacy on the interest in learning, and learning interest influencing the level of understanding

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, family environment, and entrepreneurial knowledge towards the entrepreneurial interest of vocational school students in Sidoarjo. The population in this study are class XI student of SMK in Sidoarjo, Business and Management group 2014-2015. The sampling technique using proportional sampling technique. The sample consisted of 250 students. Methods of analysis using multiple linear regression. Results of the data shows that self-efficacy has partial positive significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship of vocational school students in Sidoarjo. While the family environment has partial positive significant effect on entrepreneurial interest for vocational school students in Sidoarjo. Then entrepreneurial knowledge has partially positive significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship vocational school students in Sidoarjo. Results of the data analysis shows that simultaneously self-efficacy, entrepreneurial knowledge, and family environment have a positive significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship of vocational school students in Sidoarjo
